Ancient natural medicine,

but adapted to meet the needs of our time

We offer the following two certified therapeutic methods:

■ KOHKI Kinitsu Therapy
A heat-based therapy using metal instruments and ignited medicinal herbs

■ Organism Balance Therapy
A therapy based on principles of quantum physics and using bamboo instruments

Organism Balance Therapy (originally in Japanese “Seitai Balance Therapy”, abbreviated as “SBT”) is a natural medical therapeutic system developed in Japan to address the broad range of physical and mental imbalances that may arise in response to changes in the modern environment and contemporary lifestyles.

Within this system, KOHKI Kinitsu Therapy (thermal therapy) is used to help relieve coldness in the body, promote deep relaxation, support healthy circulation, and contribute to the balance of the autonomic nervous system. In this way, it is intended to support metabolic activity and the healthy functioning of the body’s organs.

The medical theory and techniques of SBT form an integrated system combining contemporary general Western medicine with both ancient and modern Asian medicine*. It has a broad clinical field of application across a wide range of complaints and disorders, including those affecting the musculoskeletal system, the brain and nervous system, the circulatory system, the digestive system, the endocrine system, the urinary system, and the reproductive system, as well as mental and emotional disturbances.

Through the combination of natural medicinal plants, specially developed therapeutic instruments, qualified manual treatment, and movement-based therapeutic approaches, SBT offers a gentle and comfortable form of treatment that has been accepted by people of many age groups. The fact that treatment can often be received while remaining clothed also contributes to a greater sense of security, dignity, and accessibility for many people.

* In addition to the contemporary general Western medicine that we share worldwide, the theoretical and technical system of SBT is based on the ancient medicine of the Yellow Emperor, on acupuncture and moxibustion introduced to Japan by Kobo Daishi, on the thermotherapy of Master Kin-itsu Ito, M.D., on Meridian Shiatsu of Master Shizuto Masunaga, on Noguchi Organism Conditioning of Master Haruchika Noguchi, on the theory of the eight levels of the extraordinary meridians by Master Yoshio Manaka, M.D., on the theory of the Hirata 12 reactive belt zones by Master Kurakichi Hirata, and on the theory of acupuncture and moxibustion developed by Master Makoto Yamashita.
